A Busy April!

Well, April went by so fast, I didn't even have time to post! Since we've returned from Florida at the end of March, Jonas has just gotten more and more mobile. He is now a pro at crawling, pulling up on furniture, and is now even good at lowering himself back down OFF the furniture! Along with the new mobility as come a lot of new discoveries...

and we've pulled a piece of Dixie's food out of his mouth once or twice!

He's also discovered and enjoyed all kinds of new foods...he LOVES spaghetti!


Here we are looking longingly out the window during the spring snowfall a couple of weeks ago...

Boy are we glad the weather has turned nice!!

Florida Vacation 2007

Jonas and I recently returned from our Florida vacation with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Alex, Aunt Katie, and Abbie. Unfortunately, Ben had to stay home and work. We had a good time...it was so exciting, in fact, that Jonas couldn't bear to sleep a WINK the WHOLE WEEK! But aside from not sleeping, we had lots of fun!

Here's Jonas on his first airplane ride (the phrase "no leg room" takes on a whole new meaning when you are flying with a baby on your lap!)
The first day on the beach was cold...but that didn't stop Jonas from exploring! His new crawling skills really helped!

Ahhhhh...more sand...we liked to squish it between our toes...Jonas liked to squish it between his fingers...and taste it...and rub it in his hair...

Jonas LOVED to shovel the sand! Even in the condo, he would often just crawl around with a plastic shovel grasped tightly in his hand.
