Summer So Far...

The summer started with, of course, the end of preschool for Jonas!  Here he is receiving his "diploma" from Mrs. M!  We'll sure miss Mrs. M and Mrs. Kay next year, but we can hardly wait for Kindergarten!

The other thing that always starts off our summer is Jonas's birthday.  This year he turned 5 with a Superhero cake while Miles and some of his soon-to-be-Kindergartner buddies looked on.

Later the same day we celebrated with family.  It was so fun to have cousins stay late for a campfire and marshmallows and then sleep over!

When Ben headed to Costa Rica for 10 days, we spent a weekend in Red Wing with Grandma and Grandpa.  Here are Miles and Grandpa, all dressed up for a wedding.

Another weekend finds us up to visit Papa and JuJu so we can spend some time with Uncle James during his visit.  A picnic in a park, a little baseball, some hiking, and playing in the water is the perfect way to spend a summer day!

SLIP 'N SLIDE!

Camping with Uncle Alex and cousins in Wisconsin!  Another beautiful summer weekend!

T-Ball.  Jonas is in the green shirt on 1st base.

Most recently, we spent a weekend in Forest Lake so Ben could do a triathlon.  The boys also participated in the Kids Triathlon.

Two happy triathletes!

Family pic.  Maybe Christmas card?

Out of the water, happy because he's on his way to his bike!  I seriously think this guy had the most enthusiastic fans!!

Jonas had the most success, taking 3rd in his age group.  He's pretty proud of that trophy.  If you come visit us, I bet you'll get to see it!!
