Seriously -- a different day, a different tunnel -- same level of excitement for anyone with a "Y" chromosome, no matter the age!

Luther Girls
Yesterday we had a Luther get-together at my house-
7 girls, 7 kids, and 2 good-natured husbands... Bess was visiting all the way from Seattle and Cara came from Pennsylvania!
Here we are (3 pregnant ladies in this picture, can you guess who?)

This was the best we could do for a girl & kids photo (not pictured, Greta, due to a slight fever.) Thanks to the good-natured husbands mentioned above for being our photographers!
Luckily, Jonas was pretty good about sharing his new toys - here Eva, Logan, and Rowan enjoy some playtime.
Jonas shows Cara his favorite stocking cap...is he like his daddy, or what?!

Christmas Pictures!
Our Christmas started a little late due to me having to work 12 hour shifts on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. That might also be why I ONLY videotaped on Christmas morning and forgot to take any photos until just before rushing off to work...
Here's Jonas using his new table and chairs...

Finally, a day late, the holiday celebration at Grandma and Grandpa M.'s. This is seriously the best we could do for a cousins photo - two goofy smiles and one crying baby (which is strange, because Izzie NEVER cries...I guess she didn't like being propped up against a hard box?)
Jonas on his new "bike" complete with helmet...which he won't ride without (the helmet was actually a bigger hit than the bike!)
We were fortunate enough to have our cousins Adrian and Kelsey home to help celebrate the holidays! Great to see you guys!
And here's the best I could do to get Noelle and Jonas to stand in front of the tree together for a cousin photo...oh, well! At least they are playing nicely together in this one...
One final picture of our champagne toast to my brother, who recently got his first REAL job (well, actually it is something called a "post-doc" position that he and only 3 other people got out of a pool of 300 applicants...but he assures me it is much more like a "job" than MORE school!) Good luck, Alex - please work on that renewable energy technology for all of us!
