Jonas's 1st birthday party was a beach party theme! Fortunately, we had a beautiful day to be outside!
There was swimming...
playing in the sand (and perhaps eating a little, too)... 
new toys...
new clothes...
and, of course, cake!!
In attendance at the party were mommy, daddy, Grandma JuJu and Papa Barclay, Grandma and Grandpa Martinson, Aunt Jenn, Uncle Russ, Noelle, Uncle Nic, Aunt Katie, Uncle Alex, and Abbie! As an extra birthday treat, Uncle Alex, Aunt Katie, and Abbie were able to stay overnight and play for a whole additional day before returning to Chicago!
